Road 2 Manhood educates young men in the greater Tampa Bay area, between the ages of 14-21 with life skills, communication, health, education, and financial responsibility, removing many unknown associations with becoming a "MAN".
About Us
Road 2 Manhood Inc (R2M) stands out as an exemplary community service organization dedicated to making a positive impact in Hillsborough County, surrounding areas, and the world. With a concentrated effort on supporting male youth, R2M excels in delivering mentorship, fostering engagement, and enhancing life skills management.
Courses & Curriculum
Road 2 Manhood will emphasize four Focus Areas: Communication, Health, Education, and Financial Management. These four areas are the foundation for constructing a solid basis of lifelong skill education.
Communicating Effectively
Sessions on effective communication skills, including active listening, assertiveness, and non-verbal communication. Role-playing exercises and group discussions to practice communication techniques and strategies.
Healthy Living
Workshops on nutrition, exercise, and the importance of sleep for overall health and well-being. Physical activities and fitness challenges to encourage participants to incorporate healthy habits into their daily routines.
Education Engagement
Education is the catalyst for future success. Navigating through High school and college can be challenging without the proper tools. The curriculum will highlight key concepts and resources for enhancing your learning experience and transitioning into post high-school opportunities.
Financial Management
Financial literacy workshops covering topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, and paying for college. Interactive activities and simulations to help participants understand the practical aspects of managing money and making informed financial decisions.
